Caleb, you are one blessed boy. Your nurses are amazing, each and every one. However, this post is a shout out to Adrianne. She was amazing today. She worked her booty off and did all the right things for you. Knowing how much she cares about you (she calls you love bug like she calls her own babies) and loves you it amazes me how strong she was today. She calmed us so many times. She knows you so well and was willing to listen when I expressed concern that there was an underlying problem. She was on top of everything and was a rock. I am so grateful she is in our lives. That she chose this profession. That she is one of your primary nurses. That she is so great at what she does. That she cares about you so much. That she is so great to me and dad. That she is a friend to me. Today was so hard. Yet she was finding the blessings in it and telling us everything would turn out today.
(Adrianne, if you're reading this Caleb is at 55 percent right now. I think it was taking a while to clear the fentanyl out of his system. Thank you for being so great and wonderful. We love you. Your family must be so proud of you for what you do. You make a difference in so many lives.)
One of your other nurses, Shannon, called today to check on you. So sweet. Multiple nurses that know you popped their heads in to see you. You have captured so many hearts, sweet boy. Rest up, buddy. Let's have a quiet night...I'm exhausted and so is dad. I'm sure your doubly exhausted.
Love you baby boy.
So much.
Xoxo
